In today’s healthcare ecosystem, the convergence of AI, cloud-native data engineering, and scalable infrastructure is redefining how clinical and operational insights are delivered. This keynote explores the evolution of data engineering workflows-from traditional enterprise data warehouses to real-time, AI-augmented architectures that support diagnostics, risk prediction, and personalized care.
Drawing on industry experience from building high-performance pipelines at large healthcare firms like Humana, I will share practical strategies for integrating large language models (LLMs), secure multi-cloud ETL frameworks, and governed data platforms to enable data-driven decision-making. We will also examine challenges in handling sensitive health data at scale, implementing AI responsibly, and ensuring compliance in regulated environments.
