Scalable and Responsible AI Architectures for Healthcare Vision Systems Using Oracle 23c, GoldenGate, and GDS

Abstract:

This talk presents an enterprise-grade framework for deploying responsible artificial intelligence in healthcare-focused vision systems, integrating deep learning-based image analytics with scalable, secure data infrastructure. The approach leverages Oracle 23 AI-enabled Autonomous Database capabilities, specifically vector search, in-database machine learning, and secure embedding storage—augmented by Oracle GoldenGate for real-time replication and Global Data Services (GDS) for cross-regional high availability.

The session will explore production-ready strategies for ingesting and analyzing multimodal medical imaging data at scale, focusing on clinical use cases such as radiographic anomaly detection, diabetic retinopathy screening, and oncology imaging classification. Attention is given to architectural components that enable rapid ingestion and real-time analytics, supported by GoldenGate-based data replication to HDFS, Kafka, and cloud-native object stores such as Dell ECS. GDS-based failover and workload distribution further enhance availability, performance, and compliance in multi-region deployments.

Case studies will highlight enterprise implementations led at Dell Technologies, where GoldenGate was integrated with modern AI pipelines for resilient, high-throughput imaging analytics and at JPMorgan Chase, where GDS-enabled infrastructure supported compliance-critical environments with robust failover and disaster recovery capabilities.

The presentation emphasizes the alignment of vision-based AI systems with global regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR), while ensuring scalability, observability, and auditability across the AI lifecycle. The proposed blueprint aims to support healthcare institutions in deploying ethical, secure, and operationally resilient image analytics platforms at scale.
