Building Trustworthy Generative AI: Responsible Governance for Enterprise and Healthcare
Abstract:
Generative AI is rapidly transforming enterprise and healthcare environments by enabling intelligent automation, decision support, scientific collaboration, and more effective use of organizational data; however, its adoption in regulated and high-stakes environments introduces significant challenges involving data privacy, hallucinations, algorithmic bias, transparency, security, compliance, and accountability.
This talk presents a governance-first approach to responsible Generative AI adoption, drawing on research analyzing 397 AI implementation cases across enterprise and healthcare settings.
It examines how governance maturity, human-in-the-loop oversight, monitoring, access controls, transparency, and multidisciplinary accountability influence AI reliability and operational risk.
The session also introduces a practical governance architecture integrating policy controls, identity and consent management, secure system integration, and continuous audit and monitoring, demonstrating how organizations can balance innovation with safety, regulatory compliance, accountability, and trust while deploying Generative AI in critical business and healthcare workflows.
