NIT Warangal Campus

National Institute of Technology Warangal (NIT Warangal) was established in 1959 as the Regional Engineering College Warangal, one of the first RECs set up by the Government of India. It was upgraded to the status of a National Institute of Technology (NIT) in 2002 and was accorded the status of an Institute of National Importance in 2007. The institute offers a wide range of undergraduate programs, including B.Tech, as well as postgraduate programs such as M.Tech, M.Sc., MBA, and MCA, along with Ph.D. research programs. NIT Warangal has been consistently ranked among the top engineering institutions in India and has produced highly skilled professionals who contribute significantly to national and global technological advancement.

The institute campus spans an area of approximately 248 acres and comprises well-planned administrative and academic buildings, state-of-the-art laboratories, a central library, and residential accommodations for students and staff. The campus also provides essential amenities, including a post office, shopping complex, a school for children, a health center, auditoriums, and a sports complex with extensive facilities that support academic, cultural, and recreational activities.
