DevOps in Multi-Cloud and Hybrid Cloud Environments
Abstract:
The rapid adoption of cloud computing has transformed how organizations design, develop, and deploy modern applications. As enterprises increasingly adopt multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures, managing software delivery across diverse platforms has become a critical challenge. DevOps practices play a key role in enabling seamless integration, automation, and continuous delivery across heterogeneous cloud environments.
This talk explores how DevOps methodologies can be effectively implemented in multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructures to achieve greater scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency. It discusses the use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes to standardize deployment processes across different cloud providers. The session also highlights the importance of automated CI/CD pipelines, cross-platform monitoring, and observability tools for maintaining consistent performance and availability.
In addition, the presentation examines key challenges including cloud interoperability, security compliance, data management, and cost optimization. By adopting intelligent automation, policy-driven governance, and integrated DevSecOps practices, organizations can build resilient and flexible software delivery pipelines.
The session concludes by outlining emerging trends such as AI-driven DevOps, platform engineering, and autonomous operations that are shaping the future of multi-cloud DevOps ecosystems. This talk provides practical insights for researchers, engineers, and IT leaders aiming to accelerate innovation while maintaining reliability in complex cloud environments.
