Generative AI for Network Diagnostics in 5G
Abstract:
5G networks generate unprecedented volumes of telemetry and event data, yet enterprises continue to struggle with transforming this raw information into timely, actionable insights. Traditional monitoring and rule-based systems often fall short when faced with the scale, velocity, and complexity of modern telecom infrastructure. Generative AI offers a new paradigm—moving beyond static dashboards to intelligent systems that can interpret logs, predict failures, and automate diagnostics with context awareness. This talk examines how GenAI models can be integrated with event-driven architectures to deliver proactive service assurance, predictive maintenance, and faster incident resolution. We will showcase real-world telecom case studies where GenAI-driven diagnostics significantly reduced mean time to detect (MTTD) and mean time to resolve (MTTR), while lowering operational costs and improving customer experience.By embedding generative models into network management workflows, telecom providers can transition from reactive troubleshooting to intelligent, self-healing ecosystems. Attendees will walk away with a product roadmap for enabling GenAI in 5G operations—highlighting architectural patterns, integration strategies, and governance considerations that make AI-driven network diagnostics reliable, scalable, and enterprise-ready.
