Event-Driven Intelligence: Building Cloud-Native Smart Systems with AI

Abstract:

Smart computing systems operate in dynamic, data-intensive environments where real-time decisions matter. In my work, I’ve seen how Event-Driven Architecture enables scalable cloud-native systems, but events alone do not make them intelligent. The next step is embedding AI directly into event streams so systems can act on the right signals at the right time. In this talk, I share architectural patterns that combine event-driven cloud platforms with AI to build responsive and resilient systems. I discuss real-time inference, AI-driven automation, and key design considerations such as latency, observability, feedback loops, and governance, illustrated through real-world scenarios of event-driven intelligence in action.
