Durgaraman Maruthavanan is a highly accomplished Lead Data Engineer and Associate Consultant at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), with over 18 years of experience in the field of data engineering and information technology. He specializes in enterprise-scale data integration, cloud data migration, and architecting automation frameworks, and holds deep expertise working with platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, and Teradata, among others.

At TCS, Durgaraman leads end-to-end data engineering projects, including the migration and modernization of large-scale ETL systems, optimization of data transformation pipelines, and development of automation-driven solutions to ensure high data quality and intelligent validation. He has demonstrated a consistent ability to align technical strategy with business objectives, leading to successful collaborations with major global clients such as Apple, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, RBS, and General Motors. Durgaraman holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Bharathidasan University and has obtained multiple AWS certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional and AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional. He is actively involved in technical program committees for international conferences and is recognized for his domain leadership in transforming legacy data ecosystems into agile, cloud-native infrastructures that empower faster, data-driven decision-making for organizations.
