Abstract:
Generative AI is transforming how organizations interact with data, but it's true potential is unlocked when paired with enterprise-grade semantic search. This keynote explores how Oracle Database 23ai integrates AI Vector Search to enable Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), allowing large language models (LLMs) to access and reason over private enterprise data without compromising security or performance.
Attendees will gain insights into how vector embeddings represent the semantic meaning of structured and unstructured data—documents, images, support incidents, and more—and how Oracle’s converged database architecture allows seamless integration of vector search with relational, JSON, and business data. Real-world use cases will demonstrate how developers can combine customer preferences, product metadata, and AI-powered similarity search using just a few lines of SQL. The session will also highlight Oracle’s mission-critical OLTP strengths, enabling real-time AI search for fraud detection, risk profiling, and intelligent support systems.
