AI-Powered Supply Chains: From Predictive Insights to Autonomous Operations

Abstract:

Artificial intelligence is redefining how global supply chains sense, decide, and respond. Yet most organizations remain stuck in the “predictive insight” phase—using AI for forecasting and dashboards—without translating intelligence into autonomous, adaptive operations. This invited talk bridges that gap. Drawing from implementations in logistics, manufacturing, and procurement, we will unpack an end-to-end AI transformation framework: from data-driven visibility to prescriptive decisioning and human-supervised autonomy. Key topics include data readiness and integration across ERP, IoT, and logistics networks; the evolution from static planning to real-time optimization; and governance mechanisms for trust, transparency, and ethical AI use in operational contexts.
