Abstract:
This session looks at how sustainable computing principles and intelligent system design are changing key data-intensive industries, such as insurance, finance, and healthcare. Using real-world examples, it will describe AI-enabled architectures in service of efficiency, ethical intelligence, and resiliency, to drive and enable real-time fraud detection, predictive risk modeling, improved financial operations, improved outcomes for patients, and patient-centered analytics. By integrating sustainable computing principles along with applied machine learning, federated intelligence, and cross-domain intelligent systems, the talk focuses on how collaboration across sectors can enhance transparency and the economic impact of computational solutions while enabling ecosystems for responsible AI.
