Abstract:
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems have long been the digital backbone of businesses, enabling finance, supply chain, HR, and manufacturing to operate at scale. But, in today’s fast-paced, hyperconnected world, traditional ERP often struggles to keep up with the demands of agility, resilience, and intelligence. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into ERP systems is no longer an option but it is the catalyst for transforming ERP from a reactive transaction system into a proactive intelligence engine. This keynote describes how AI—via predictive analytics and autonomous agents—enables ERP with the ability to sense the context, decide, and act in real time. From predictive demand forecasting in supply chains, to conversational AI that simplifies procurement, to AI-driven compliance monitoring in finance, ERP systems are evolving into autonomous, self-optimizing platforms. With hybrid cloud and edge integration, organizations are able to scale AI-infused ERP globally, while still ensuring governance, trust, and compliance.
