Goutham Bandapati is a distinguished Senior Cloud Solutions Architect at Microsoft and a recognized thought leader in AI and cloud resiliency. With over 13 years of experience, he partners with Fortune 500 enterprises to design secure, scalable, and resilient Azure-based solutions that align with well-architected frameworks and Zero Trust security principles. As a Cloud Resiliency Champion, he drives business continuity and disaster recovery strategies while enabling organizations to maximize innovation and reliability in their AI and cloud adoption.

He plays a key role in Microsoft’s “AI Ready” initiative, helping enterprises transition AI proofs of concept into production-ready workloads through governance, security, and cost-optimization frameworks. Previously, at American Airlines, he was a founding member of the Cloud Center of Excellence and Principal Product Manager for the Multi-Cloud Governance product, where his leadership in governance and cloud adoption played a vital role in securing the choice of "Cloud Service Provider," saving $4M annually through cloud optimization. Prior to that, he supported the seamless merger of American Airlines and US Airways.

Beyond corporate impact, Goutham contributes to research and thought leadership. He has published peer-reviewed work on AI and Cloud Governance, Security, FinOps and AI democratization. Goutham is authoring a forthcoming book with Packt on AI and cloud resiliency and has spoken at Microsoft and other events on unified resiliency.
