Perceive • Reason • Act: The Agentic Architecture of Modern Digital Commerce

Abstract:

Digital commerce has evolved beyond static workflows into a dynamic, context-rich environment where decisions must be made in real time across pricing, catalog, fulfillment, and customer engagement. Traditional automation—built on rigid rules and predefined scripts—cannot keep pace with this complexity. The next frontier is agentic AI systems, designed to perceive, reason, and act autonomously while working alongside human oversight.

This keynote presents the architectural foundations for building agentic commerce platforms that deliver measurable business impact. We will explore how agents ingest real-time signals—market trends, customer intent, inventory states—and apply reasoning to optimize dynamic pricing, product bundling, fraud detection, and personalized experiences. These agents go beyond reactive support to proactively orchestrate workflows across order management, billing accuracy, and omnichannel interactions. Underpinning this transformation is an API-first, microservices-based, composable architecture that enables scalability, flexibility, and resilience. Organizations adopting this paradigm report 30% higher cart conversions, 40% faster fulfillment cycles, and 50% lower support costs. Humans remain in the loop to set strategy and uphold ethics, while agents execute, coordinate, and continuously learn.

Participants will gain insights into a practical blueprint for architecting adaptive, agentic commerce ecosystems that transform every layer—from discovery to delivery—into an intelligent, self-optimizing platform.
