Beyond Prompts: How Agentic AI Will Redefine Cyber Defense

Abstract:

The era of static prompts and simple question answering is ending. As artificial intelligence reshapes the security landscape, depending solely on conventional language models is no longer enough. Security teams now operate in environments where threats evolve by the minute, information flows without pause, and rapid reasoning and coordinated responses decide outcomes. The next wave of innovation is being driven by Agentic AI i.e. intelligent systems that can think, plan, and act alongside human experts.

In this keynote, Arun Kumar Elengovan, award winning security leader and Director of Security Engineering at Okta, will explore how agent based intelligence is transforming the way cybersecurity is practiced. You will discover how these systems move from passive responders to active participants that interpret context, form strategies, collaborate across multiple layers, and execute complex tasks with precision; capabilities that will soon become indispensable for every security practitioner.

This session will guide you through the essential pillars of generative intelligence, offer practical insights into building your own model infrastructure, and reveal how to create adaptive agents capable of decision making and collaboration. You will also uncover how strategic design patterns, dynamic feedback systems, and multi agent orchestration can enhance resilience and speed in real world security scenarios.

By the end, you will understand how to use Agentic AI as a force multiplier and position yourself at the forefront of the next major shift in security.
