Abstract: 

The way Artificial Intelligence (AI) is being woven into enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is truly reshaping digital transformation across various industries. SAP, a frontrunner in the ERP space, has transformed into an intelligent suite by integrating AI features into its ecosystem, which includes SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP Analytics Cloud. This paper offers a thorough overview of AI-driven business use cases implemented within SAP environments, showcasing applications in key areas like finance, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer service. By examining real-world implementations, the study uncovers trends in AI adoption, such as predictive analytics, anomaly detection, natural language processing, and intelligent automation. It also delves into the architectural frameworks that underpin these use cases, the integration methods using SAP AI Core and BTP, and how cloud platforms facilitate scalable AI services. Additionally, it addresses significant challenges related to data governance, managing the model lifecycle, and ensuring responsible AI practices.
